Itinerary

  • We’ll begin the tour by picking you up from your hotel or the airport in Dhaka. First, we’ll head to the Shahbagh Flower Market, a vibrant display of color and scent that offers a great start to the day.
  • From there, we’ll take a short walk to Suhrawardy Udyan, also known as the Old Racecourse Ground. Which is a historic site linked to the country's independence.
  • Next, we’ll explore the Dhaka University area, including the Central Shaheed Minar, a powerful symbol of Bangladesh’s Language Movement and the iconic Curzon Hall, a beautiful blend of Mughal and British architecture.
  • We’ll then drive toward the Dhakeshwari Temple, Dhaka’s oldest Hindu temple, before continuing to the 17th-century Lalbagh Fort, an incomplete Mughal fort filled with intriguing stories and elegant structures.
  • Afterward, we’ll stroll through Chawk Bazar and stop by the stunning Star Mosque (Tara Masjid) before visiting the quiet, serene Armenian Church in Armanitola. We’ll then walk through Shakhari Bazar, the Hindu artisans’ street filled with history, colors, and crafts.
  • Before the day ends, we’ll visit the majestic Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace) and then head toward the bustling Sadarghat River Port for a short Buriganga boat ride - a must for understanding Dhaka’s river-based life.
  • By evening, we’ll check into your hotel in central Dhaka (AC Twin Sharing), have a delicious Bengali dinner, and rest for the night.
  • After breakfast and hotel checkout,  your local guide who will accompany you for the day will met with you in your hotel with Pre-reserved AC private vehicle.
  • Then, you’ll head to Savar, where your first stop is the striking National Martyrs' Monument which is a powerful symbol of Bangladesh’s liberation war. Your guide will share the history behind this iconic site.
  • After that, you'll drive toward a nearby pottery village, where you’ll see families making traditional clay items like pots, dolls, and cookware. You can try the pottery wheel yourself and take photos as the artisans demonstrate their craft.
  • From there, continue to a brass artisans' village, where metalworkers create religious items, utensils, and sculptures using hand tools and age-old casting methods. It’s an incredible experience to witness this fading heritage.
  • After the hands-on visits, enjoy a relaxing local lunch at a rural restaurant or guesthouse with regional food (included).
  • In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Jahangirnagar University campus. Take a walk through the peaceful lakeside areas, explore the academic environment, and (if visiting in winter) enjoy views of migratory birds like ducks and storks.
  • Finally, return to Dhaka and your guide will drop you off at your hotel or chosen location.
