Itinerary

  • Our day will begin with a comfortable pickup from your Dhaka hotel or airport (if the flight matches the schedule). We’ll begin our scenic drive toward Tangail in a private AC vehicle. After around 3–4 hours, we’ll reach our first highlight — Mohera Jamidar Bari — a beautifully preserved 19th-century Zamindar estate showcasing European-inspired architecture and colonial-era charm. We'll explore its gardens, museum sections, and grand courtyards while learning about the rich aristocratic history of Bengal.
  • Following the visit, we’ll check into your hotel in Tangail town and freshen up before heading for a traditional Bengali lunch at a local restaurant.
  • After lunch, we’ll explore Tat Saree Weaving Village, where local artisans continue centuries-old traditions of hand-loom weaving. You'll witness the making of Tangail’s iconic sarees and get a chance to interact with the weavers.
  • Next, we’ll visit the historic Korotia Saree Market, believed to be over 200 years old. While it's especially vibrant on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, it remains open all week and offers a bustling glimpse into Tangail’s textile heritage.
  • As the sun begins to set, we’ll stop at a famous Tangail sweet shop to try the legendary Cham Cham – a syrupy milk-based dessert native to this region. Depending on timing, you may also witness parts of the sweet-making process.
  • In the evening, we’ll stroll through local markets to experience the daily life of Tangail’s residents. Dinner will be served at a local eatery, followed by a restful night at your hotel.
  • After a hearty breakfast, we’ll drive toward the majestic 201 Dome Mosque, one of the largest dome mosques in the world. The mosque's sheer scale and peaceful ambiance make it a truly memorable stop.
  • From there, we’ll continue our journey to the Dhanbari Jamidar Palace, a regal estate rich in history, heritage, and legacy. The palace architecture and surrounding village offer insights into Bengal’s aristocratic past.
  • We’ll enjoy a local lunch and then head toward the tranquil Madhupur National Park ,which is  a beautiful forest reserve known for its towering Sal trees, indigenous wildlife, and quiet walking trails. We’ll take time to explore the nature trails and enjoy the fresh air of this green haven.
  • After this, we’ll begin our return journey to Dhaka. Expect to arrive by evening, and we’ll drop you at your hotel or the airport depending on your preference.
