Itinerary

  • We begin our adventure early in the morning as your private air-conditioned vehicle picks you up from your hotel or the airport in Dhaka. As we leave behind the city's hustle, the roads open up to the countryside. On the way, we stop for a quick photo at the iconic Cha Konna sculpture, a proud symbol welcoming travelers to Bangladesh’s tea capital.
  • Upon arrival in Sreemangal, we check in to your cozy hotel or resort . After a warm traditional Bengali lunch, we head out to explore the serene Lawachara National Park, a designated UNESCO heritage site known for its rare wildlife, ancient trees, and quiet trails. Here you may spot monkeys, colorful birds, and even the elusive Hoolock gibbon if lucky.
  • Deep inside the forest lies a Khasia tribal village, where you'll witness a simple, sustainable lifestyle. Walking through their stilt houses surrounded by betel leaf gardens, you’ll get a glimpse into a community untouched by time.
  • Later in the day, we stroll through lush tea gardens and rubber plantations, watching the hardworking tea pickers in action. As the sun sets, we return to the resort for a hearty dinner and rest after a fulfilling first day.
  • After breakfast, we check out and continue our journey through the green heart of Sreemangal. Our first stop is the tranquil Madhabpur Lake, surrounded by rolling tea gardens. The mirror like water reflects the sky, and it’s a perfect moment for peaceful contemplation or photography.
  • The we will visit Nurjahan Tea State which is one of the biggest tea state in Bangladesh.
  • Then we visit Adi Nilkantha Tea Cabin, the legendary birthplace of Sreemangal’s famous 7-layer tea, each layer with its own flavor and color,  a visual and taste sensation.
  • Next, we explore Manipuri Para (Manipuri Village) , home to the indigenous Manipuri community known for their weaving and handloom crafts. You’ll get a chance to browse and buy locally made textiles and witness traditional craftsmanship in action.
  • Our last stop in Sreemangal is Lal Pahar, a scenic hill surrounded by tea estates and rural paths. We take a light hike up to reach the peaceful Hindu temple at the summit - the view from the top is worth every step, as it reveals endless waves of green hills and distant villages.
  • By late afternoon, we begin our road journey to Sylhet in our private vehicle. Upon arrival in the evening, we check into the hotel. After freshening up, we head to the famous Panshi Restaurant, renowned for serving authentic Sylheti cuisine.
  • Before calling it a night, we make a short visit to the sacred Hazrat Shahjalal Mazar, glowing in the peaceful ambiance of the city’s spiritual heart.
  • After an early breakfast, we set out toward the Bangladesh-India border area, beginning with a short detour to Dibir Haor, a magical wetland where blooming water lilies float in peaceful silence. A gentle boat ride allows us to glide past this floral paradise.
  • Then we will make our way to Jaflong, where the crystal-clear Dawki River (cleanest river in asia)  flows through a rocky landscape framed by the Khasi hills. We explore the area, see the Mayabi Waterfall, and interact with locals engaged in traditional stone collection - a unique livelihood of the region.
  • From Jaflong, we move toward Lalakhal, one of the most scenic spots in Sylhet. Here, we board a small boat to cruise over emerald-green waters, offering one of the most photogenic boat rides in the country.
  • After a refreshing lunch at a local Bengali restaurant, we head to Agun Pahar, a quiet hill where red clay roads snake through tea gardens and scattered rural homes. The viewpoint offers an intimate glimpse of Sylhet’s countryside charm.
  • We return to Sylhet city before evening. After freshening up, enjoy a casual walking tour through the local markets, side streets, and riverside promenade. This is a chance to feel the vibe of a city often called the “London of Bangladesh” due to its strong UK connection.
  • We begin our final day early with breakfast and hotel check-out. Our first destination is the mysterious Ratargul Swamp Forest, the only freshwater swamp forest in Bangladesh. Gliding through submerged trees on a small boat, it feels like entering another world - green, quiet, and deeply peaceful.
  • Next, we drive to Volaganj Shada Pathor, a place known for its white rock beds and clear river water. Here, you can take a dip, enjoy a boat ride, or simply watch the local rock workers extracting stones from the river by hand - a raw and powerful sight.
  • After a full day of exploration, we begin our return journey to Dhaka in your private vehicle. You’ll arrive at your hotel or the airport by 10 pm , with beautiful memories of Bangladesh’s greenest regions and warmest people.

  • Daily schedule may shift slightly due to traffic, local events, or guest pace – but all mentioned spots will be covered.
  • Tea garden laborers you’ll encounter are among the lowest-paid workers in the country. Please be respectful and refrain from offering money directly unless advised by your guide.
  • Though this tour is suitable for most people, it’s not ideal for those with limited mobility due to forest walks, hill visits, and some uneven terrain.
