Itinerary

  • We’ll start the day by picking you up from your hotel or the airport. Our Dhaka adventure begins at the Shahbagh Flower Market, a colorful place where locals gather daily to trade fresh blooms. From there, we’ll take a short walk to Suhrawardy Udyan (formerly the Racecourse Ground), a historic spot closely linked to the birth of Bangladesh.
  • Next, we’ll explore the Dhaka University area, where you’ll visit the powerful Central Shaheed Minar, built to honor the martyrs of the Language Movement, and admire Curzon Hall, a beautiful colonial-era red brick building.
  • After that, we’ll drive toward the sacred Dhakeshwari Temple, one of the oldest Hindu temples in Bangladesh. Then we’ll continue to Lalbagh Fort, the 17th-century Mughal architectural marvel with an unfinished love story behind its walls.
  • Following this, we’ll head into the heart of Old Dhaka to explore Chawk Bazar, and shortly afterward, marvel at the intricate design of Star Mosque (Tara Masjid).
  • Next, we’ll walk through the bustling alleys of Shakhari Bazar, a Hindu neighborhood filled with history, color, and artisan crafts. From there, we’ll make our way to the peaceful Armenian Church before finishing at Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace), the opulent residence of the Nawabs of Dhaka.
  • Finally, we’ll stroll down to Sadarghat River Port, where the chaos of Dhaka’s waterway unfolds in front of you. A short boat ride on the Buriganga River offers the perfect end to the day.
  • After dinner, we’ll board an overnight AC train or bus to Sylhet.
  • Upon arrival in Sylhet early in the morning, we’ll check into your hotel and enjoy a traditional Bengali breakfast. Once refreshed, we’ll set out by reserved local transport (CNG/Leguna) toward the countryside.
  • Our first stop is Dibir Haor, a stunning water body dotted with seasonal water lilies - best seen in the morning light. A short boat ride here reveals the natural beauty and serenity of Sylhet's wetlands.
  • We’ll continue our journey to Jaflong, where the emerald green Dawki River separates Bangladesh and India. We'll witness the transparent waters and visit the Mayabi Waterfall (best during the monsoon).
  • After exploring, we’ll move to Lalakhal, where a boat ride will take you through crystal-clear blue waters nestled between tea gardens and hills.

  • From Ratargul, we’ll drive to Shada Pathor (White Stones), where the riverbed is covered in white rocks, creating an otherworldly landscape. You’ll enjoy a short boat ride across the river and can swim if you’d like. You’ll also witness local stone industries and life along the Indo-Bangladesh border.
  • After lunch, we’ll return to Sylhet city for rest, dinner, and an overnight stay.
